Massage Aftercare

Consume at least ½ of your body weight in oz of water per day. Ex: 150lbs = 75oz of water. Drink lots of water the day of and day after your massage.

If you are feeling sore, try heat and/or ice therapies on sore areas. Ask your therapist for specific recommendations.

Stretching is very important in between massages. Ask your therapist about specific stretches for you.

Avoid intense physical activity for 48-72 hours post massage, as your muscles may be sore and need to recover prior to intense workouts. (if you are coming in specifically for a sports massage, please talk with your therapist about working out, as we may have different recommendations for you).

It is normal for muscles to feel sore for a couple days after a massage (especially if you have had any deep tissue massage work done).

Waxing & Facial Aftercare
Waxing Do's and Don'ts:

After a wax, it is important to baby your skin. Do cleanse and moisturize daily, exfoliate 2-3 times per week, apply sunscreen, and stay on a consistent waxing schedule.

After a wax, don't go into very hot water or any chlorine for at least 24 hours post wax. Don't exercise or do any intense activities for at least 24 hours post wax. Don't apply any scented products to waxed skin for at least 48 hours. Don't shave in between wax appointments.
Facial Aftercare:

Use gentle products on skin for a few days post facial, always use sunscreen. Avoid direct sunlight and very hot water on face for at least 48 hours post facial.

It is normal for skin to ​have a TRANSITIONAL PERIOD post facial which is a temporary skin condition that may occur due to the introduction of specific active ingredients. When starting with a new range of active products you may experience a transitional or crisis period. Things that can happen: - Excessive oiliness- Excessive dryness or slight flakiness- Breakouts and/or underlying congestion - Increased sensitivity. Please reach out to your esthetician with any major skin concerns.
